Latest Restoration Project - Oct 26, 2020

Here is a peek at the latest photo restoration taking place at the studio.

This photo is from the 1950s and has some fading and spotting. The picture is also skewed and distorted.

Pictured are my Aunt Jane, Uncle Mark, and a non-relative behind the bar. There are two other people in the right, bottom corner, but there isn't enough of them in the frame to identify them.

I can't wait to see the finished version!

Researching The Family Ancestry - Photo Restorations

My latest restoration project was for a customer who is researching her family's ancestry.

Some of the photos I worked on are from the 1960s, and will be included in the genealogical research project.

The restored pictures will provide a glimpse into the past for future generations.

Here is a look at two of the five photos I worked on.

Restored - Easter 1970s Style

This little gem was taken during the 1970s at Easter. The walls, couch, and carpeting definitely identify it as the 70s.

My mother and I both received flowers and I got to wear my Easter bonnet!

There was a slight, purplish colorcast over the photo and some fading.

I was able to restore the color, brighten it up, and sharpen the facial features. All-in-all, I am pretty happy with the results.

It's been a while

Sorry it has been so long since I have shared anything, but my kidney issues have made it difficult for me to spend much time in the studio....
