Holiday photos remind of us great times, and become even more important when those in them are no longer with us.
This little gem, from 1981, was discolored and washed out. After a little time in the studio, it looks as good as new.
We have gift certificates available. They can be purchased every Saturday at the Monroe Farmers Market from 7am-Noon.

Today would have been my grandmother's birthday. She is celebrating in Heaven now, but at least she is with my grandfather.
I have several photos from various birthdays, but I loved the smile in this one taken during the late 1970s.

My mother's cousin recently sent me some photos of their grandfather, my great-grandfather. The following pictures are from the late 1910s and 1920s.
The first is a photo of him in his Word War I uniform. It was taken before he shipped off to Europe.
The rest of the photos are of Monroe Steel Castings, where he was employed after the war.
Although the castings plant is no longer around, it is fun to get a peek at life from 100 years ago.
