The following is a photo of my mother's "grandfather" in his Army uniform from World War I. Although he was my great-grandmother's second husband, he helped raise her four children along with a daughter of their own. He was the only grandfather my mom knew and loved. His photo will now be seen and cherished for many generations yet to come.
